PLASMO®HEAL PRO combines the effects of cold plasma and aerosol.

Cold Atmospheric Plasma-Aerosol (CAP-A) reliably inactivates bacteria, fungi, and multi-resistant germs for optimal application on wounds and skin. This inactivation creates an environment conducive to wound healing. PLASMO®HEAL PRO works through a combination of the mechanical detachment and displacement effect of the aerosol, the Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) generated by the cold plasma, and the normalization of the pH value.

What maintenance is required?

PLASMO®HEAL PRO is designed for a service life of 7 years. Service under the operator's responsibility is to be performed annually or after 300 applications. The user can perform the service themselves using a service kit, available from the manufacturer or distributor. This includes a new PLASMO®HEAL PRO applicator tube, new seals, and a filter mat. Additional expanded service by the manufacturer is recommended every two years.

What hygienic measures must be observed?

The housing is cleaned by wipe disinfection. The refillable water container must be emptied daily and rinsed twice with 100 ml sterile water. During optional reprocessing, the container can undergo thermal disinfection in a water bath or a washer-disinfector (WD). The PLASMO®HEAL PRO applicator tube is reprocessed by wipe disinfection from the outside. Internal decontamination occurs automatically via CAP-A during the 15-second cleaning phase at the start of each treatment cycle. The PLASMO®HEAL PRO applicator is a single-use product and must be replaced when changing patients. Disposal within 24 hours after first use.

What happens if the error indicator lights up?

If an error occurs, PLASMO®HEAL PRO displays it via the LED indicator (book symbol with exclamation mark). The device is then no longer functional. Please contact us in this case.
