PLASMO®HEAL

EFFECTIVE WOUND THERAPY WITH COLD PLASMA AEROSOL FOR DIFFERENT WOUND TYPES

CHRONIC WOUNDS

Do not heal even over a very long time (> 8 weeks). Common wound types: Diabetic foot, decubitus ulcer & venous leg ulcer.

SECONDARY HEALING WOUNDS

Are usually extensive/gaping with large tissue loss (e.g., burns) or bacterially infected (e.g., after dog bite)

SKIN DISEASES

Skin infections caused by microorganisms (e.g. acne, neurodermatitis)

COLD PLASMA - THE TECHNOLOGY OF THE FUTURE

Our unique plasma source requires only electricity and ambient air to generate cold plasma.

The patented mixture with nebulized water, the cold plasma aerosol, enables maximum success.

how it works

MICROORGANISMS ARE DESTROYED & HUMAN CELLS ARE SPARED

Cold plasma oxidizes and perforates the cell membrane of microorganisms. Human cells are more developed and protected by cellular associations. Enzymes (proteins) break down the cold plasma and protect the skin.

enveloped viruses & fungi)

FAQs

What exactly is cold plasma?

Cold plasma is an ionized gas consisting of various charged particles. Some of these have a disinfecting effect. They have been shown to oxidize and perforate the cell walls of microorganisms such as native bacteria and enveloped viruses. Unlike microorganisms, human cells are more developed and are protected by proteins in the cell association. Cold plasma does not harm humans. Only ambient air and electricity are needed to generate cold plasma. Cold plasma is generated in our devices with the help of a special and patented cold plasma source.

What maintenance is required?

PLASMO®HEAL is designed for a service life of 5 years. Service under the operator's responsibility must be performed annually or after 1,500 applications. For this purpose, the user can perform the service himself with the aid of a service kit.Service by the manufacturer must be performed every two years. For this purpose, please send the device to the manufacturer after prior notification.

What hygienic measures must be observed?

The refillable water tank of PLASMO®HEAL must be cleaned at regular intervals. The PLASMO®HEAL applicator must be replaced in the event of contamination (e.g. before changing patients). The PLASMO®HEAL applicator hose can be easily reprocessed by wipe disinfection.

What happens if PLASMO®HEAL is broken?

If there is a defect, PLASMO®HEAL indicates this via an LED display. In this case, please contact us or our service partner (see operating instructions). We will check the defect and immediately take care of a proper repair or a replacement unit.

Which water do I use to fill the water tank?
